"EyeCon" 40x30 Acrylic on Canvas Collection: Private
In celebration of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month (2008), Nordstrom selected EyeCon as one of the pieces to be showcased along with other Asian-inspired art from all around the world.
This painting is simply pure emotion and subconscious motor memory spilled out onto my canvas. Growing up, I was really into drawing eyes. Over the course of my lifetime, I have probably drawn thousands upon thousands of eyes. These eyes were primarily influenced by Japanese Anime characters like Min Mei and Rick Hunter from the cartoon series Robotech.
Although this piece isn't as technically sophisticated as my other paintings, it captures years of years of motor memory spilled onto a canvas in a matter of minutes.
This painting was selected to be on Display at 7 Nordstrom Locations.
Which came first, the pencil or the tree? It's the new debate.

This title graphic was created for an online article called "Electricity Delivered: When and Where Needed" that discusses the huge demands of electricity and how these demands are met through different sources.
The design was inspired by the pattern created by electromagnetic forces.
Vivacity Sportswear combines femininity and function; featuring Swarovski Elements® crystal detailing, color blocking and stylish pieces, the collection can be worn from course to clubhouse. The logo itself was inspired by the crystal forms that line the clothing.
